Rosario Inn – “Probably the best hostel in the world”

A special mention and massive thanks has to go to Ezequiel and Dario, the owners of the Rosario Inn – probably the best hostel in the world. They made us all feel right at home and when it was time to move on, we were all gutted to leave.

hours of fun in the lockers

While we were there, the courtyard doubled as an open air classroom, with the abstract map of the world on the wall making a great testing ground, and everyone chipped in with a bit of travel advice for our next steps. Another treat was the Asado prepared by Dario complete with his own style chef hat. We are not sure that he always wears the hat, but lighting the BBQ seemed to trigger a massive thunderstorm, so the cooking was done in torrential rain. Not distracted from his task, Dario served up a first class barbie for us all. (An Asado is an Argentinian BBQ – these guys could show the Aussies a thing or two about how to BBQ meat!)

In the hostel: English, Italian, Brazilian and Argentine.

Kids with Ezequiel - great guy.

Great to hear from you. At the moment it is 1:0 to the bugs, but we will have revenge! Thanks for the putting together the contacts, we have hired a motorhome for the whole month so we are really flexible. Argentina is brilliant, especially in the north west, but we are looking forward to making ourselves understood when we get to NZ. At the moment there is a lot of food ordering that ends up with weird pink mayonaise on thinly sliced bread – very unpleasant.

Hope you are all doing well.

      Lots of Love,

Alan, Jo, Kai, Elena and Theo
